After a short outdoor season, the Scottish Athletics Event Team, Scottish Athletics Officials and National Club Managers collectively did an fantastic job in hosting the final National Open Event at Meadowmill over the weekend especially under tight restrictions and challenging cross wind conditions, which gave our Club Athletes a great opportunity to compete for the 2nd last time in Track & Field events

Despite the challenging conditions all of our Club Athletes delivered another great set of performances with yet a number of PB’s + a SATS All-Time Ranking Entry achieved, which was great to see all unfold – you all did yourselves and your coaches proud – well done!!!

  • Amy Kennedy (Shot Put – 13.17m PB + SATS All-Time Ranking Entry)

A special mention to Amy for her great PB performance in the Shot Put, which merited an entry into the U17 All-Time Rankings administered by Scottish Association of Track Statistics – well dome Amy!!:

Looking ahead to the last Track Meet of this short outdoor season, sees a great blend of youth and experience taking on the Monument Mile at Stirling University on Friday, with 16 Athletes entered – a great turnout – all the best to those taking part – go and enjoy 🙂
