This weekend, our Masters and Combined Eventers took part in their National Indoor Championships and there were lots of fantastic performances, PBs and medals!

On Saturday it was the turn of our U13 girls and boys, our U15 boys and day 1 of the U17 men, and they all scored a PB in at least one event!

Richard (U13)  had PBs in all 5 events, and finished in the top 10 overall! Well done Richard!

Sam (U13) had PBs in all 5 events and also finished in the top 10 overall! Well done Sam!

Grant (U15) had PBs in hurdles and long jump! Well done Grant!

Finn (U15) had PBs in hurdles and long jump! Well done Finn!

Ava (U13) had PBs in hurdles, high jump and 800m! Well done Ava!

Jessica (U13) had PBs in all 5 events! Well done Jessica!

Millie (U13) had PBs in long jump and shot put, and finished in the top ten overall! Well done Millie!

Niah had PBs in hurdles, high jump, shot put and 800m! Well done Niah!

And Euan (U17) had a great start to his first ever indoor heptathlon taking place over 2 days, scoring a big PB in the long jump (5.33m), finishing the day in 6th place overall!

Meanwhile in the National Relays, our Senior Men’s team finished in a very respectable 4th place overall, and our U17 men won their heat and will progress to the final taking place in the next couple of weeks!

On Sunday, it was the turn of our Masters, our U15G, U17W and U20W combined eventers, and day 2 of Euan’s U17M Heptathlon.

In the Masters championships, Paul ran two fantastic races to finish with a Silver medal in the M50 800m (with a PB of 2:13.74), and a Bronze medal in the M50 1500m.  Well done Paul!

And Vincent finished 4th in in the M50 1500m, well done Vincent!

Our U15G combined eventers also all managed to score at least one PB in their 5 events!

Grace had PBs in hurdles and shot put, and finished in 14th place out of  a strong field of 33 girls.  Well done Grace!

Rebekah had PBs in hurdles, long jump, high jump and shot put!  Well done Rebekah!

Mia had PBs in all 5 events! Well done Mia!

Meanwhile Euan continued his competition with hurdles (9.92), followed by his first ever pole vault competition (a great first-time clearance of 2.17m) and his first ever 1000m (3:46.33), to finish 7th overall with a points PB of 2661.  Well done Euan!

Amy won a Silver medal in the U17W pentathlon against a strong filled of 22 girls, with PBs in shot put (12.67m), long jump (4.87m), hurdles (9.44) and a season’s best in high jump (1.57m), followed by 800m (2:54.35), giving her a points PB total of 3164.  Well done Amy!

Hannah took part in her first ever U20W pentathlon and also performed well! She started with a great first ever run over U20 hurdles of 9.80, followed by a strong high jump (1.54m) and long jump (5.11m). Then she threw a best of 6.98m in her first ever 4k shot put competition, followed by 800m (2:54.43), finishing 5th overall with a points PB total of 2758! Well done Hannah!
