On Sunday, it was the turn of our U17s and Seniors to head to the Emirates for their Scottish National Championships and there were lots of great performances!

Reuben started his day with a great PB in the Triple Jump of 12.46m, giving him 4th place overall.  He then proceeded to run a PB in the 400m heat of 52.57 to qualify for the final, where he won a BRONZE medal.  Well done Reuben!

Amy kicked off her day with a PB in the 60H of 9.50, qualifying her for the semi-final.  She then threw a new PB in the Shot Put of 12.40m, and finished 4th overall.  She then jumped 1.49 in the high jump.  Well done Amy!

Emily was next up in the 60m and 200m, qualifying for the semi-finals in both.  She ran a PB of 8.39 in the 60m.  Well done Emily!

Beth made her first step into the Senior age group, running in the 60m and the 60H where she ran strongly in a very tough field.  Well done Beth!

Calum also qualified for the final of the 400m with a PB of 52.74, where he ran another great time of 53.15 to finish in 4th place.  Well done Calum!

Thomas took part in the Senior Men’s Long Jump, where he had a great jump of 6.29m, against a very strong field.  Well done Thomas!
