Over the past 3 weeks we have been practicing with our young Athletes the art of 4x100m Relays, which has been a great change event wise :-), this Sunday is where we will have a great opportunity to have a run out at the National Relay Championships, which will be held at the home of Pitreavie AC & Dunfermline AC – Pitreavie Athletics Centre.
There will be 3 Relay Teams representing the Club, U13 Girls & U15 Boys 4x100m and an U17 Mens 3x800m and will be looked after by Gillian and Stephen, with the following Athletes making up the teams:
As the first race is at 10.00 and the declarations need to be handed in 1 hour prior to the start and as Pitreavie is 40mins drive from Cumbernuald, we need to leave Muirfield Community Centre at 08.00. A copy of the Event Timetable can be found here.
If Athletes are making their own way there, can you please txt Stephen on 07768 337 608 to let him know. We will be taking a mixture of cars to allow those Athletes wanting to leave after their race can do so.
The current weather forecast looks perfect for Relays however please bring warm clothing 🙂
