The 3rd YDL Match saw both LAG and U17 NL Teams reach the Scottish YDL Final for the 5th year in a row, which is down to a fantatstic team effort from all the Athletes, Coaches, Officials and Parent Helpers across all the three Clubs that have participated from the YDL Trials throughout the 3 YDL meets – well done to everyone that has been involved 🙂
There were also yet again a number of great performances by Cumbernauld Athletes throughout the day, with 25 new PB’s being set on the day, the following is a snapshot of these:
Note: Over the 3 YDL Meets, there have been no fewer than 64 New PB’s set by Club Athletes, which is great testimony to all the hard work both the Athletes and Coaches have put in!

YDL Scottish Final – Team NL Team Selection – Saturday 29th July, Grangemouth Sports Stadium (as of 28th July)
This year’s Scottish Final is being held this Saturday, where both Team NL LAG and U17’s go up against the top U13/U15/U17 Track and Field Teams in Scotland, which starts at the slightly earlier time of 11.30am.
The current Team Selection, Team Managers and Officials (as of 28th July) is as follows:
U13/ U15 Boys, Girls, Team Managers & Officials and U17 Men & Woman.
Please Note: The Timetable of events and times are different from the previous YDL Meets, and can be found here.
Due to a number of Athletes from the three Clubs being on holiday at the time of the Scottish Final, there are some gaps, if any Athlete would like to take on any of the events still to be filled, please contact your coach.
Medals will be presented during the day to the first three in the A and first in the B string. Relay medals will be grouped and should be collected by Team Managers at the end of the meeting.

The Club will have access to a mini bus for the final, for those that would like a space on the bus, can you please let Doanld know at the Club on Thursday
To help the Team Managers on the day, can you please make sure you are there 1.5 hours before your event is due to take place.
