Last Sunday, Team NL took another step closer to the YDL Scottish Final by finishing a fantastic 4th position in Meet 2 of Division 1.
Yet again there were a number of great performances from Club Athletes that represented Team NL and the following are just some notable highlights of the day:
Jamie Tobin: winning his second U15 Boys YDL HJ, equaling his PB 1.70m and just missing out on 1.72m.
Amy Kennedy: winning in the U13 Girls HJ in an excellent height of 1.35m.
Aimie Hendry & Hannah Wallace: with excellent 4.55m PB’s in the Long Jump.
Niamh Horbury: a great new PB of 7m15 in the U13 Girls Shot Put.
Craig Little: with a brilliant new 800m PB of 2.36.
Emily Miller: running a strong sprint double, winning the 200m and coming in 2nd in the 100m.
Jacob Brown: taking 11 seconds off his 1500m time with a great run of 4m56s
Alasdair McMonagle: running an excellent new 800m PB dipping under 2.10 with a time of 2.09.
Lucy Somerville: remained unbeaten in the Womans 800m with her 2nd YDL win of the year with a commanding performance throughout.
Beth Tobin & Sophie Hanlon: Both ran exceptionally well to win both A&B String in the 80m Hurdles
Beth Tobin: Womans 4x100m was a close competitive race with Team NL running out as winners over the last 10m.
Well done to all that competed, you were a great credit to yourselves, the Club and Team NL 🙂
